Friday, September 10th, I took Alexis and Isaac to the Ringling Barnum and Bailey Circus and the Arco Arena. We try to go every fall and we love it every time. Dad took us to the circus the first time when we moved to Roseville 5 years ago. My kids insist we go now every year. Look what Grandpa started!! I don't mind because I enjoy it as much as the kids. I look forward to it as much as the kids. Deanna couldn't go with us this year due to her water polo tournament. (She was very angry she had to miss it!) We took our neighbor instead. Chloe is Alexis's friend from church and had never been and seen a clown in person. It was so exciting!! Every bit of it was awesome! Alexis loved the baby elephant and the trampoline guys. Isaac loved the motorcycle ball cage that fit 7 motorcycles all at one time going in circles. I think he was hoping to see them crash!! Anything that is noisy is his favorite!!! Alexis was so cute with Chloe, explaining everything and enjoying the newness with her.
Deanna went to Reno, Nevada 6 days ago for a water polo tournament. She stayed for 2 days of competition. Her team was able to stay and Circus Circus and had a great time! What an experience for her! She was so tired when she arrived home on Saturday. Two whole days of constant water polo. she called after one day asking to come home. I was still in Roseville and her ride wasn't leaving till the end of the tournament. So she was stuck! She told me she didn't want to do that again. It was a lot of work. Her coach was impressed with her work and let her play quite a bit. On her first game, she was drowned by her opponent and had to punch her repeatedly to get away. This inflamed her enough to become really aggressive the rest of the tournament and was pulled out for part of a game for being too aggressive. HeeHee! Her coach was so proud and expects her to keep that up from now on. She has another tournament next month down in Modesto, CA.

We had a wonderful day! We drove to downtown Folsom and parked by the River. We walked across an old historic bridge to the other side of the river. While Rico and I cooled off in the water; Isaac, Alexis, and Sarah (our 3rd daughter) climbed the rocks jutting out of the riverbed. They climbed for, it felt like, hours! It was so hot! We decided to hike back across the river to Old Town Folsom and found an old-timey ice cream shop to cool off! Deanna didn't come. She ditched us for her boyfriend!
